Chrona

Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: September 4, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Chrona (“Chrona,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of chrona.world and its account, profile, social-discovery, and payment features (the “Service”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the Service where prohibited by law.

2. Accounts and Security

An account may be created through a supported sign-in provider or a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for controlling the sign-in account, protecting sessions and codes, providing accurate information, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe an account or session has been compromised.

3. The Service

Subject to these Terms, Chrona grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service through supported interfaces for lawful purposes. Features, limits, availability, and supported providers may change. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Chrona software, names, designs, or trademarks.

You retain rights in profile information you submit and grant Chrona a non-exclusive license to host, format, transmit, and display it only as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Service.

4. Social Relationships

If you authorize X or Discord, Chrona may use your saved X Following or shared membership of the configured official Chrona Discord to suggest accounts you may know. A match is a discovery signal only; it does not represent a mutual friendship, endorsement, permission to contact someone, or that person's current activity.

You may not use social discovery to harass, stalk, profile, scrape, or circumvent another person's settings or rights. Provider permissions, rate limits, and separate terms also apply. You can revoke provider authorization through X or Discord and may contact us to request unlinking.

5. Payments and Chronos

Stripe processes payment credentials and hosts Checkout. Prices, currency, and the number of Chronos offered are shown before purchase. Chronos are a limited, account-bound digital balance for use only in supported Chrona features. They are not legal tender, a deposit, an investment, or redeemable for cash unless required by law.

A Checkout redirect is not proof of credit. Chronos are added only after server verification. Do not manipulate, replay, or interfere with orders, sessions, webhooks, balances, or ledger records.

For billing errors, refund requests, or unauthorized purchases, contact us promptly with the account email and Stripe receipt identifier. Refunds, reversals, disputes, expiration, transferability, and account closure are subject to applicable law and any additional policy shown at purchase. We may correct duplicate or erroneous credits and preserve financial records as required.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to violate law or another person's rights; impersonate others; commit fraud; probe, attack, overload, scrape abusively, or gain unauthorized access; introduce malware; bypass access controls or payment safeguards; misuse another person's account; or materially interfere with the Service or its users.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Stripe, hosting providers, and enabled OAuth providers. Their separate terms and policies may apply. Chrona is not responsible for third-party outages, account decisions, or services outside our control.

8. Suspension, Termination, and Changes

You may stop using the Service at any time. Contact us to request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access, correct balances, preserve evidence, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational, payment, or enforcement reasons. Financial and security records may survive account closure where permitted or required.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Chrona and its suppliers disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chrona and its affiliates, suppliers, licensors, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or use. Their aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid to Chrona during the preceding 12 months or US $100. Non-waivable rights remain unaffected.

10. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and Chrona concerning the Service unless separate written terms apply. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as necessary and the remainder will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain in effect.

11. Contact

Questions, account requests, or billing issues may be sent to pengpeng1366@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, full card details, API keys, or other secrets.
